To ask Kapa a question, head to the ask-kapa-ai channel in the Devs Hub ( 👾 Discord) & follow these steps:

1️⃣ Mention “@kapa.ai” - Kapa can only respond if you tag it in the question.
2️⃣ Kapa will acknowledge your question immediately, and respond in about 15 seconds.
3️⃣ You can ask up to 2 follow up questions in the same thread and Kapa will respond. Otherwise, you can always tag @ DevRel and we’d be more than happy to answer any questions you have.

⚠️ We ask that you refrain from spamming Kapa with unnecessary questions, as resources are limited. Kapa is trained to only answer questions that it knows the answers to with a high degree of confidence, so if there’s a question it’s not entirely sure about, you’ll get an “I’m not sure” response by design. Kapa is continually learning and evolving with updates and additions to the content it’s trained on, such as the Moonbeam documentation site. Of course, there are some questions that Kapa can’t answer, and the Developer Relations team is here to help.

The Moonbeam network is experiencing block production issues following the runtime upgrade 2201, starting at around 10:45AM ET.

The issue is being investigated. Further updates will be posted as more information becomes available. The Moonriver network is not affected by this issue.

The root cause of the recent Moonbeam blockchain production issue has been identified and the team has deployed a solution in the form of a client upgrade. Moonbeam is now producing blocks.

Block production will continue to ramp up as all nodes update to the latest version, 0.30.3.

We have an important announcement to make. Bobabeam is being wound down & will no longer be available, starting May 25th.

For users of Bobabeam or Bobabeam applications you will need to transfer all your assets to Moonbeam mainnet before May 15th or risk permanently losing access to any assets on Bobabeam.

Bobabeam was Boba Network’s Layer 2 scaling solution on Moonbeam & the first of its kind in the ecosystem. We’re proud to have supported the first L2 on Dotsama & will continue to test the boundaries of what’s possible in Web3! Thank you to the Boba Foundation for your hard work in this effort. Moving forward, we remain committed to establishing Moonbeam as the premier destination for cross-chain connected applications.
