🌕 Big News! Native USDC is now available for use on Moonbeam & can be transferred to the network from the Polkadot Asset Hub via the Moonbeam DApp!

On November 5, Polkadot Proposal #174 passed, making USDC sufficient.

This means that native USDC can be used to pay transaction fees and exist on accounts without DOT. In other words, users can now seamlessly tap into the power of USDC on Moonbeam via the Moonbeam DApp.

📢 Urgent Update: Moonbase Alpha Bug Discovered & Voting Advisory

🐞 Bug in RT2601
A critical bug has been identified in RT2601 on Moonbase Alpha. Our core development team is actively investigating, and a hotfix, RT2602, is being prepared for all networks, replacing RT2601.

⏰ Important Decision on MR40
With just 2 days left to decide on MR40 (Upgrade Moonriver to RT2601), the Moonriver and Moonbeam Technical Committee has recommended canceling MR40 while we await the RT2602 build.

🔧 New Proposal: MR42
MR42 has been proposed to cancel MR40. The Technical Committee advises the community to vote “Aye” on MR42 and “Nay” on MR40, ensuring the cancellation if needed.
