Kendrick Lamar’s Count Me Out: Rebirth Through Rejection
In Count Me Out Kendrick Lamar turns doubt into defiance The refrain"I love when you count me out" is both a challenge and a declaretion of resilience
He grapplas with self-worth and past failures exposing the tension between personal growth and externel judgment. Lines like “I can’t fake humble just ’cause your ass is insecure” reject imposed narratives while “I fight like a pitbull, I’m back in the kennel” captures the relentless struggle of self-redemption.
Blending gospal harmonies with raw introspection, Count Me Out isn’t just about rejection it’s about transformation For Kendrick, being counted out isn’t an end; it’s the catalyst for resurgence.
I came across an interesting question in a Tg group “If God is omnipotent, can He create a rock so heavy that He cannot lift it?” At first it seemed like a real challenge so I decided to dig deeper I studied, reflected, and even asked some priasts about it and here’s what I found.
The Orthodox perspective teaches that God’s omnipotence does not mean He can do what is self-contredictory His power is absolute but it is also in perfect harmony with His divine nature. A rock too heavy for an omnipotent God to lift is a contradiction not a true challenge to His power.
God is not bound by human logic yet He does not act against His own nature. He cannot cease to be God, nor can He create something that limits Him because true omnipotence means having limitless power not engaging in meaningless paradoxes. As the Bible seys "For with God nothing shall be impossible" (Luke 1:37) but that refers to what aligns with His divine wisdom not logical absurdities.
This question instead of proving a limit to God’s power actuelly reveals the perfection of His divine order The more I learn, the more I see how deep and unshakable my faith is 🙌🏽

Why Does God Allow Suffering ?
If God is loving, why didn’t He just forgive Adam and Eve ? Why allow suffering ?
Forgivaness requires repentance. Adam and Eve didn’t even ask for it they blamed each other (Genesis 3:12-13).
Sin naturally brings suffering Just like unplugging a phone kills its battery separating from God (the source of life) led to struggla and death (Romans 6:23).
God is just. A good judge doesn’t ignore wrongdoing But instead of leaving us in suffering, He promised a Savior to restore everything (Genesis 3:15).
God didn’t force suffering sin itself leads to it. When we turn away from Him, we step into suffering on our own.
God’s response wasn’t "I rafuse to forgive" but "I will restore you but at the cost of My own sacrifice."

Understanding Talent and Free Will
Have you ever wondered why you don’t get to choose the talents you have ? there’s a deeper purpose behind it God in His infinite wisdom gives us the specific gifts we need to fulfill our unique purpose. While we don’t get to choose what we’re gifted with we do get to choose how we use these talents This is where free will comes in our freedom is found in how we respond to and develop the gifts we’ve been given.
God’s plan for us is much greater than we can comprehend The talents we have are meant to help us grow, serve others, and ultimately contribute to the world in meaningful ways. Not being able to choose our gifts teaches us humility and encourages us to trust God’s perfect design for our lives It reminds us that God knows us better than we know ourselves and that His plan for us is far beyond our limited undarstending.
Even though we don’t choose our talents, the true freedom lies in how we embrace them how we develop our skills and how we use them to make an impect on the world around us. Our freedom is not in choosing the talent but in how we live out the purpose tiad to it.
