Majid Entezami, born on March 9th 1948 in Tehran is a musician, composer, oboe player & music teacher.
Since 1970s, he has composed music for more than 80 movies & was awarded 4 times
in the soundtrack section of Fajr Film Festival.
In 2013, he received a national medal of honor for years of efforts in the field of culture & art.  He is the son of Iranian legendary cinema actor Ezzatollah Entezami
You may listen to one of his masterpieces named "Peace & Hope" symphony.

مجید انتظامی متولد ۱۸ اسفند ۱۳۲۶ در تهران موسیقی‌دان، نوازنده، آهنگساز، نوازنده ابوا و استاد تدریس موسیقی است.
از دهه ۱۳۵۰، او برای بیش از ۸۰ فیلم موسیقی ساخته و ۴ بار جایزه موفق به در یافت جایزه در بخش موسیقی متن جشنواره فیلم فجر شده است.

وی در سال ۱۳۹۳ به پاس سالها تلاش در عرصه فرهنگ و هنر، مدال افتخار ملی را دریافت کرد. او فرزند عزت الله انتظامی بازیگر اسطوره ای سینمای ایران است.

از یکی از شاهکارهای او به نام سمفونی "صلح و امید" میتوانید لذت ببرید.
