Sulfuric acid is one of the most famous discoveries of the ancient Iranians.
Abu Bakr Muhammad bin Zakariya Razi, an Iranian astronomer, mathematician & geographer, was the first one to discover sulfuric acid. This was not only very important at the time, but also laid the foundation for chemical engineering in the modern era.
Today, sulfuric acid is used in a variety of productions, from fertilizers to detergents, & has affected everything from agriculture to urban life.
Sometimes, industrial performance of countries is measured by the amount of produced sulfuric acid.

اسید سولفوریک امروز در تولید مواد بسیاری زیادی، از کود شیمیایی گرفته تا مواد شوینده استفاده می‌شود و بر هر چیزی، از کشاورزی گرفته تا زندگی شهری تاثیر گذاشته است. بسیاری از اوقات نیز قدرت صنعتی کشورها براساس میزان اسید سولفوریک تولید شده از سوی آن‌ها سنجیده می‌شود.
