The signs of the Apocalypse (the End Times)
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) says about the condition of the believers at the End Times: "... At that time, the believer's heart dissolves inside them, as salt dissolves in water; because they see the sins, but they canβt prevent or change them. The believer walks among them fearfully, if they talk, they will be attacked, and if they remain silent, they will die of a broken heart." (Ilzam al-Nasib, p. 115)
At the End Times, the common models of people will change. If you are virtuous, others consider you as an old-fashioned and low-level person; but if you do not observe ethics and modesty, then you are considered as a classy and elegant person. At the End Times, moral virtues will disappear and vices will prevail instead.

Too many problems at the End Times make the situation of people bad. Tranquility and peace of mind are diminishing among the people, and people interact without love and affection. They face disturbing scenes when being with relatives and neighbors, as well as doing legal and governmental affairs, doing business and walking in the streets and markets.
It is narrated from Imam Hassan (PBUH) (the 2nd Imam of Shias): "The condition of the people before the Reappearance of the saviour of the End Times is such that most people hate each other. Some people curse and insult others, and some spit on others, and some even testify against others that they are pagan."
Someone asked: βWhat good is in this?β The Imam answered: "All of good is in this; it is this time when our Qaβim (Imam Mahdi (PBUH)) will rise and eliminate all this hatred."
