❗️"We call on Azerbaijan and Russia to immediately restore uninterrupted transit, keeping their previous commitments, which clearly include guarantees, as you (ed.: Ararat Mirzoyan) quoted, "for the safe movement of people, vehicles and cargo through the Lachin Corridor in both directions". The continued disruption of private and commercial traffic on the Lachin road could have severe humanitarian consequences for people living in Nagorno-Karabakh," said US Ambassador to the OSCE Michael Carpenter.
Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh Davit Babayan was appointed advisor to the President of Artsakh, representative of the President's special assignments. Babayan announced this on his Facebook page.
πŸ‡¦πŸ‡² The special representative of NATO Secretary General in South Caucasus and Central Asia Javier Colomina will arrive in Yerevan in the coming days. This was reported by the press service of the RA MFA.

πŸ“Œ RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Austrian Federal Minister of European and Foreign Affairs Alexander Schallenberg. During the meeting, Minister Mirzoyan presented to his colleague the daily worsening humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of Azerbaijan blocking the Lachin Corridor.

🀝 Regional issues, Armenian-Austrian cooperation in international organizations, and the promotion of common agendas were also discussed at the meeting. [RA MFA]
Since December 12, 2022, Azerbaijan has closed the Lachin Corridor connecting Artsakh to Armenia, as a result of which 120,000 residents of Artsakh, including 30,000 children, are under siege. 1100 civilians, including 270 minors, can’t return to Artsakh from RA. On January 17, 19 children returned home on the Goris-Stepanakert road accompanied by Russian peacekeeping troops.

Its’s impossible to deliver 400 tons of food and medicine from RA to Artsakh every day. There is a shortage of food and medicine.

13 children are in the neonatal and intensive care units, 9 patients are in the intensive care unit. 5 are in critical condition. 28 Armenians and 4 foreigners in need of emergency medical care were transferred to RA only through the mediation of the Red Cross, and one of the patients died in Artsakh.

Since January 10, because of the accident, the electricity supply in Artsakh has been carried out on a four-hour schedule of fan outages.

Artsakh is under siege.

Ararat Mirzoyan said this, noting that there has been no response for a month.
