When multiple users share their live location within a group, they’re displayed on an interactive map. To use this feature, choose “location” from the attachment menu and tap on “Share my location for…” Another useful feature is “send without sound”. It is rather self-explanatory: you can message friends freely when you know they are attending an important meeting, studying, or sleeping. Recipients will get a notification as usual, but their device won’t make sound, even if it is in general mode. Voice messages can be converted to text for those times you don't want to listen, but want to see what it says. You can rate transcriptions to help improve them. To share your live location with someone, first open the chat and tap on the attachment button. Now, tap on location.
When you turn on that feature, the app automatically switches to dark mode. Go to Settings > Chat Settings and toggle on Auto-Night Mode. All your normal chat media will be saved in your cloud storage. But, secret chats are not a part of the Telegram cloud.
