Exodus 35:20 - 21 NIV
[20] Then the whole Israelite community withdrew from Mosesβ presence, [21] and everyone who was willing and whose heart moved them came and brought an offering to the Lord for the work on the tent of meeting, for all its service, and for the sacred garments.
Today we learn from this scripture that even in the Old covenant, giving for the work of the Lord was voluntary. Because God loves a cheerful giver. So we must learn to give towards the progression of the church not out of compulsion but from our hearts. Truly, God sees all that we do and He is a rewarder of men.

Matt 6:6
6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
From todayβ s scripture Jesus tells us something about prayer. It is not about praying in the open where everyone sees us but rather we should pray in our rooms(in secret) where only God sees us. Not disregarding prayer in fellowship.

The only time you know youβre actively growing in Christ or even in the ministry is when you find yourself at the place you start following as you are supposed to, in the sense when you see a post you react to it, you listen to the sermons being posted, you make it a point of being present at meetings. Being diligent to the little even as you grow with the ministry there you yourself can say βI am growing even not only spiritually but even in characterβ.

One of the greatest tool in this season is how you get to embrace the scriptures even unto our lives, you can not make wrong decisions if youβre making scriptural decisions.

βAnd do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.β

Quiet time
Genesis 25:33 NIV
[33] But Jacob said, βSwear to me first.β So he swore an oath to him, selling his birthright to Jacob.
From this scripture we can learn something significant. Here Esau sold his birthright to his younger brother. You would expect a birthright to be something that cannot be sold. But it happened, which allowed Jacob to receive the blessings of the firstborn. We can learn from this to watch our mouth and be careful to make promises we cannot keep. Else the consequences could be very costly.
Amen π
