Love is sacrifice

Love as a sacrifice in a case where we don’t just say we love but we love with action and these action may be painstaking but as long as we love we should understand why we are doing it and do it with heart. For that is love, that you sacrificing your time, money, peace is what shows you love someone rather than words.

Love is forbearing

“Jesus answered him, “I say to you, not up to seven times, but seventy times seven.”
Matthew 18:22 AMP
that even as much as we annoyed by an act or something being done we still have to be at a place wholeheartedly forgive. That no matter what someone has done to us we can be able to forgive and live with the person

that the love in us is forbearing that we can cope in and with things

Love is God

even in these things we have spoken about. We see it so much and evidently that God depicts these so many times.

So we all know what happened, Man sinned against God and he fell short of his glory (Romans 3:23) there we became slaves to sin. So even as God showed as love and all by countlessly rescuing us by evil and giving us a law to abide to( the law of moses) we still couldn’t receive that glory but because that God said that he will put his spirit in us in order that we do not sin no more( Jeremiah 31:33). Then God sent(out of love) his only begotten son to die for us and save us. There he gave his holy spirit to guide unto all truth( John 16:13).

In order for us to grow the love of Christ in our personal lives we must have the fullness of the Holy Spirit and dwelling in the Word which is Jesus Christ himself-Love

Here we find out that God love us even though we had offended him. And it wasn’t once, not ten times, not hundred times but he kept on forgiving us time after time

let’s read 1 Corinthians 13:4-9

“Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured. It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail]. Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening]. Love never fails [it never fades nor ends]. But as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for the gift of special knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part [for our knowledge is fragmentary and incomplete].”
1 Corinthians 13:4-9 AMP

Even as we read we understand that these are realities God lives in and depicts.

For we as christians have called into this family of love. As we have received Christ we have received also the spirit of love that our light shining will also be in accordance to love and the love which is of God.

“For ye have not received the spirit of bondage to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:”
Romans 8:15-16 KJV

That we as christians should come to this consciousness and also walk in it deliberately by character watch and deliberate changing. For even as we know that we are sons of God we should come to a place transformation from a normal human being to a being of love. For that is the language as christians that is who we are, just like our Father.

“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
1 John 4:8 NIV
