選舉觀察計劃由今日早上7時30分投票開始至今，接獲不少市民報告，有並未表明身分、亦非傳媒工作者的人士，在投票站門外長期設置攝錄器材，拍攝或錄影選民進出投票站。
我們認為這些舉動並不是香港市民熟悉的傳媒採訪手法，更有侵犯選民私隱之嫌，亦會令前往投票站的選民感到不安，甚至有可能影響投票意欲，亦對票站運作構成影響。
我們呼籲選管會和票站主任應留意上述情況，並以具體行動保障選民的個人私隱。

Election Observation Project has received several reports from citizens that, there are unidentified people stationing their video-recording facilities outside polling stations, to record voters queuing and entering polling stations.
Such practice is definitely not the same as the media practice that we are familiar with in Hong Kong, and no wonder is treated with suspicion by voters. The video-recording may intrude privacy and agitate voters. It may even discourage people to vote and disturb the operation of polling stations.
We urge the Electoral Affairs Committee and presiding officers in polling stations to pay attention to the above-mentioned situation and protect the privacy of voters.

政制及內地事務局局長聶德權指票站人員為了疏導站外排隊的人龍，按實際情況，以人性化的方法加快流程；如坐輪椅或需要照顧的人士有特別需要，亦可向票站人員提出。(連結：https://www.facebook.com/336470003446152/posts/777723445987470?d=n&sfns=mo）
選舉觀察計劃認為選舉管理的機構有責任保障不同階層和背景人士能公平、自由地參與選舉。故此，積極協助傷健人士和年長選民投票乃份內事。然而，此等安排不應違反公平原則，反而應一視同仁，保障選舉公正。例如，票站人員可以為長時間等候投票的有需要人士提供椅子休息，而非另闢蹊徑，廣泛給予某類人士優先投票的機會，否則只會影響投票的公正性，亦可能令其他市民不滿，增加衝突風險。
我們亦認為聶局長「早投、遲投都是一樣」的說法有推卸責任之嫌。選管會已表明票站可能會因突發情況而關閉，此說變相鼓勵市民盡早投票。故此，與其呼籲市民無需急於投票，倒不如責成有關部門檢討是否向市民發出錯誤訊息。

1. 叫更多朋友去投票！記住，無論投票站條龍有幾長，只要夜晚十點半之前去到龍尾，你都有權投票！
2. 投票結束之後，大部分投票站將會變身成為點票站。這個時候，候選人委派的代表記得留在票站，確保票站的安全！
3. 投票站變身成為點票站，將會重新開放公眾入場，街坊屆時可入內見證點票過程。
