🌿Both Form and Formlessness belong to the same reality🌿
Well, what suits your taste - God with form or the formless Reality? But to tell you the truth, He who is formless is also endowed with form. To His bhaktas, He reveals Himself as having a form.
It is like a great ocean, an infinite expanse of water, without any trace of shore. Here and there some of the water has been frozen. Intense cold has turned it into ice. Just so, under the cooling influence, so to speak, of the bhakta's love, the Infinite appears to take a [finite] form.
Again, the ice melts when the sun rises; it becomes water as before. Just so, one who follows the path of knowledge [jnana] - the path of discrimination [viveka] - does not see the form of God any more. To him everything is formless. The ice melts into formless water with the rise of the Sun of Knowledge.
But mark this: Both Form and Formlessness belong to one and the same Reality [God].

Once a devotee at Dakshineswar was behaving badly, and I [Swami Adbhutananda] found it impossible to check my irritation. I scolded him and he felt very hurt.
The Master [Sri Ramakrishna] knew how the devotee had suffered, and when the devotee had gone he said to me: "It is not good to speak harshly to those who come here. They are tormented with worldly problems. If they come here and then are scolded for their shortcomings, where will they go? In the presence of a holy company never use harsh words to anyone, and never say anything to cause pain to another."
Do you know what he told me next? "Tomorrow, visit this man and speak to him in such a way that he will forget what you said to him today."
So the next day I visited him. My pride was humbled. I spoke to him very sweetly. When I returned, however, the Master asked, "Did you offer him salutations from me?"
Amazed at his words, I said that I had not. Then he said, "Go to him again and offer him my salutations." So again I went to that man and conveyed the Master's salutations. At this the devotee burst into tears. I was moved to see him weeping. When I returned this time the Master said, "Now your misdeed is pardoned."

🍃🌸Happy Janamashtami🌸🍃
This is the birthday of Lord Krishna, the 8th Divine Incarnation. It falls on the 8th day of the dark half of the month of Bhadrapada (Aug-Sept). This is one of the greatest of all Hindu festivals. Lord Krishna was born at midnight. A 24-hour fast is observed on this auspicious day.
The Lord appeared when the moon entered the house of Vrishabha at the constellation of the star Rohini, on Wednesday, the 8th day of the second fortnight of the month of Sravana, which corresponds to the month of Bhadrapada Krishnapaksha according to the Barhaspatyamana, in the year of Visvavasu, i.e. 3227 BC.
Study the Bhagavatam and the Pancharatras, which are equal to the Upanishads. You will know all about the glory of Lord Krishna, His Lilas and superhuman deeds. The eighth avatara, Krishna, who has become the Beloved of India and the world at large, had a threefold objective :-
🌿To destroy the wicked demons.
🌿To play the leading role in the great war fought on the battlefield of Kurukshetra (where he delivered His wonderful message of the Gita).
🌿To become the centre of a marvellous development of the Bhakti schools of India.
There is no true science except devotion to Lord Krishna. That man is wealthy indeed who loves Radha and Krishna. There is no sorrow other than lack of devotion to Krishna. He is the foremost of the emancipated who loves Krishna. The Name, virtues and Lilas (divine pastimes) of Krishna are the chief things to be remembered. The Lotus Feet of Radha and Krishna are the chief objects of meditation.
Devotion is the only means of attaining Lord Krishna. Bhakti kindles love for the Lord. When love is directed towards Krishna, man is freed from the bondage of the world. Though Lord Krishna appeared in a human body, He had a divine body not composed of the five elements. He did not take any birth here in the usual sense of the term. He did not die. He appeared and disappeared through His Yoga Maya as He has declared in the Gita. This is a secret, known only to His devotees, yogis and sages.
Incarnations of God appear for special reasons under special circumstances. Whenever there is much unrighteousness, whenever confusion and disorder set in on account of unrighteousness and baffle the well-ordered progress of mankind, whenever the balance of human society is upset by selfish, ruthless and cruel beings, whenever irreligion and unrighteousness prevail, whenever the foundations of social organisations are undermined, the great Incarnation of God appears in order to re-establish righteousness and to restore peace.
An Incarnation is the descent of God for the ascent of man. The work done by the Incarnation of God and His teachings produce a benign influence on human beings and help them in their upward divine unfoldment and Self-realisation. The Incarnation comes to reveal the divine nature of man and makes him rise above the petty materialistic life of passion and egoism.
Krishna has played various roles during His stay in the world. He was Arjuna’s charioteer. He was an excellent statesman. He was a master musician; he gave lessons even to Narada in the art of playing the veena. The music of His flute thrilled the hearts of the Gopis and everyone else. He was a cowherd in Vrindavan and Gokul. He exhibited miraculous powers even as a child. He killed many demons. He revealed His Cosmic Form to His mother, Yasoda. He performed the Rasa Lila, the secret of which can only be understood by devotees like Narada, Gauranga, Radha and the Gopis. He taught the supreme Truth of Yoga, Bhakti and Vedanta to Arjuna and Uddhava. He had mastered every one of the sixty-four fine arts. Therefore, He is regarded as full manifestation of the God.

The secret of success lies in starting the day aright. Leave the bed with a sublime thought, a noble feeling in your heart. You will go to bed that night with the satisfaction of a day well utilized. Only he who starts his day in the spiritual way knows success, joy, prosperity, progress and good health. The inspiring thoughts gleaned from time to time from Guru will help one and all in their meditation. They are pointers to the Divine life. They will, if meditated upon and put into daily practice, usher in a life of peace, success, prosperity and spiritual felicity.

Why quarrel with anyone?
We are guests for two days! He who sleeps on the golden bed now will go to the funeral pyre tomorrow!
Ultimately one has to give up father, mother, son and spouse and remain distressed!
The king also goes, the chief also goes Even the mighty Kumbhakarna had to go!
Worms, birds, even the Creator [Brahma] does not remain in the end!
Hence Meera says: "Brother! sing of the glory of Giridhar! Meditate on Rama!"

You are the embodiment of Truth, so when you tell a lie or hear an untruth spoken by others, you feel uneasy.
You are the essence of Peace, therefore you dislike restlessness, agitation and suffering of any kind.
You are eternal, pure and ever free, hence you neither want to undergo nor have bondage or limitation of any kind.
The Self that you truly are, is an embodiment of truth, peace and limitlessness, thus you have an inner pull to realise it.
With steadfast efforts, faith, clear intellect and discipline, you do finally realise it. This realisation is inevitable, just like how a river inevitably reaches the ocean.

⚜The man’s desire for God realization never perishes, though he may not accept and know it. He has a desire from this heart to be completely happy, free from all bondages and distresses. This is the desire for God realization. This desire is certainly satisfied, because this is the real and true desire of a creature.
⚜Being a slave to perishable things is the main reason that does not allow us to turn to the imperishable. To consider money as the greatest of all, is the sign of a deluded intellect.
⚜"It should happen this way, it should not happen this way" – in this outlook, there are all sorrows. If there is anything that you desire from the world, then you will have to experience suffering.

Often, My grace throws you and your ‘world’ into the 'cosmic washing machine', full spin, in order to make sure that your wrong notions, incorrect ideas, toxic tendencies - basically, all the ingredients of suffering, which you couldn't have given up voluntarily - are washed out forcefully.
You are thus gracefully compelled to offer yourself to the Totality — to the will and dance of the Divine. This process may feel harsh, unjust and painful to you initially, but in due time, you will yourself acknowledge that it was one of the best things that could have ever happened to you. ✨
