Role Description
Currently, We are expanding our database for All Ethiopian language translators and you can apply if you have translation experience at least from English to one Ethiopian language. As an Ethiopian Language Translator, you will be responsible for translating written documents, audio recordings, and video content from:
-English to Tigrinya
-English to Somali
-English to Afar
-English to Sidama
-English to Anuak
-English to Nuare
-English to Alaba-Kʼabeena
-English to Gurage
-English to Geeze
-English to Wolaytta
-English to Harari
-English to Hadiyya
-English to Gamo Gofa
You will need to have a deep understanding of Ethiopian culture and be able to accurately convey the nuances of the language. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.


Qualifications

*Fluency in English and at least one other language
*Experience in translation and transcription
*Strong cultural understanding of Ethiopia and Ethiopian language nuances
*Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
*Ability to work independently and remotely
*Strong communication skills
*Experience with translation software and tools
*Related degree or certification in translation or linguistics is preferred
