While I was in Berlin, I accidentally discovered a cute little market where I fell upon a stand selling these amazing handsewn patchwork garments. I saw these pants and immediately knew I had to recreate them.

The only thing I know about the maker is that they're name is Svetlana and that they are Ukrainian, so the credits go to them XD

Fortunately, I just received a bagful of old jeans which all have holes, so I had what to work with!

First step was to cut all the jeans to retrieve as much fabric as possible
PS: this took a long time

Then, I could layout all the bits I had in order to make four panels I could use for the back and front of the pants

I then sew all the pieces together, traced my pattern and cutout the pieces. I also cut the pieces for in seam pockets.

I spent too much time on pinterest and felt ugly, now is time to spend too much time on linkedin and feel stupid ✨

The internet is wonderful

Does anybody know how to import a repo from gitlab to github when the first is behind a firewall? I'm trying to retrieve my interesting projects from my school-granted, pro gitlab account before it ends; but it doesn't seem to work...
