This is your friendly reminder to check your state or county's noxious weed list. Thanks to revisiting that site, I realized that there was not only bindweed in my yard, (a Class C noxious weed,) but perennial sowthistle and CHEATGRASS (aka, the Devil)

I think about this a lot, and I think there's a lot of really great workarounds for transportation that don't rely on cars.
Something I saw a lot when I lived in the city is people using wagons to walk home with groceries. Simple, easy, effective, and it can be applied to many other things.
Ignore the fact that we're probably never going to be 100% rid of cars, and moving companies with moving vans will still probably exist many years into the future.
Yeah, hauling a sofa is going to be harder with a bike. But it might not be hard if you take it apart (my preferred way to move furniture in the first place) and grab a couple heavy duty wagons.
