لماذا سمي جيل Z بهذا الاسم؟

 
يأتي جيل Z بعد جيل الألفية، ويضم الأشخاص الذين ولدوا خلال الفترة ما بين منتصف التسعينات وحتى منتصف العقد الأول من القرن الـ 21، ويحدد الديمغرافيون فترة ميلاد هذا الجيل بين عامي 1997 و2012، يطلق على هذا الجيل اسم جيل Z باعتباره الجيل الثاني بعد الجيل العاشر، وهذا من باب التسلسل الأبجدي من جيل Y(جيل الألفية)، ويُعرف جيل Z بجيل الإنترنت ليؤكد على حقيقة أنه الجيل الأول الذي ولد بعد التبني الجماعي للإنترنت.

اعتقد أن الجيل من 1990 وحتى 1999
يستحق أن يحصل عل لقب الجيل الفولاذي
لأنو انمسحت فيه الأراضي وصار عبرة لمن اعتبر وفرجة لمن يتفرج ويعتبر فاصل إعلاني بين الأجيال
