The idea that somehow the fundamental core issue of Israel’s security was Saudi Arabia or Morocco or Sudan was not the honest truth of what the biggest threat to Israel was, which is the occupation of millions of Palestinians, living in despair, with nothing to do but to turn their anger towards Israel.

And the problem is not simply that Israel did it, it’s that the west let Israel get away with it, without any serious or international mechanism to try and say to Israelis, what you are doing is wrong, what you are doing is going to come back and hurt you and we have to find a way to bring this solution to the forefront of your conscience.

You can build walls, you can imprison Palestinians you can hide behind the reality but it doesn’t change the fact that you have 6 million, 5 million Palestinians living all across your borders and within your territories, that are simply not going to give up on their fundamental right to have control over their lives and have self determination.
