📍از ساختار would rather (یا مخفف ان: ’d rather) زمانی استفاده می‌کنیم که قصد داريم ترجیح یک چیز به چیز دیگر را بیان کنیم.

🔵این عبارت دو ساختار متفاوت دارد که در ادامه به هر يك از انها می‌پردازیم.

1️⃣وقتی فاعلی که عمل ترجیح دادن و عمل فعل را انجام می دهد یکسان باشد از ساختار زير استفاده ميكنيم:

➡️ Would rather + base form of the verb (مصدر فعل بدون to)

📌I’d rather go on Friday.
ترجيح ميدهم جمعه بروم.

📌We’d rather stay at home than go out tonight.
ترجيح ميدهيم امشب در خانه بمانيم تا اينكه بيرون برويم.

✳️نكته: براى به كار بردن حالت منفى اين عبارت ، would rather not صحيح ميباشد:

📌I’d rather not fly. I hate planes.
ترجيح ميدهم پرواز نكنم. از هواپيما متنفرم.
