ሎሬት ጸጋዬ ገ/መድህን ሮባ ቀዌሳ የሸዋ አሮሞን ለዘመናት ከነበረበት ቄዬውና ከማሳው ተደላድሎ ከሚኖሩበት በ "ታቦት ወረደ" በ "ጸበል ፈለቀ" ስም ተሸንግሎ ከቄዬው ተፈናቅለው ሌለው በሱ መሬት ስተክል የተሰማውን ማራር ሀዘን እንዲህ በማለት በጹሁፍ ገልጸዋል :

አሉላ ሰለሞን ወያኔ እና ፋኖ ተባብረው ሲመጡ ልክ ኦሮምያ ላይ ሲገቡ የኦሮሞን ህዝብ ቂቤ እየቀባን አብይ አህመድን ብቻ አንስተን ደብረፂዮንን ነው ምንተካው ስለዚህ የኦሮሞ ህዝብ የኦሮምያን ድንበር ጥሰን ስንገባ ዝም ብሎ ይመልከተን የሚል እንጨት እንጨት የሚል ንግግር እዚህም እዛያም እያደረገ ነው።

ሁልጊዜ ኦሮሞን ሚያታልሉ ይመስላቸዋል እዚህ ቁጭ ያለነው ለህዝባችን መረጃ ለማቀበል ህዝባችን እንዲነቃ ነው

ዘመን ባንክ የወርቁ አይተነው( ጠብሳቹ ብሏቸው) ዘይት ፋብሪካ ላይ የሀራጅ ሽያጭ ጨረታ አውጥቷል። ወርቁ አይተነው ለፋኖ የጦር መሳርያ በመግዛት በኦሮሚያ በትግራይ በአገው በቅማንት ላይ መጠነ ስፊ ጭፍጨፋ እንዲፈፀም ያደረገ ግለሰብ ነው።

ሲኖዶሱም ዝም! ሥራ አስኪያጁም ዝም!
ከዓርብ እስከ ዛሬ ሰኞ ሰርክ ጠበቅን። ቋሚ ሲኖዶሱም ሆነ የጠቅላይ ቤተክህነት ስራ አስኪያጁ አቡነ ገብርኤልን አስመልክቶ ምንም አላሉም። እኚህን አባት እርቅ እንዲያወርዱ የላከው ቋሚ ሲኖዶሱ መሆኑ ግልጽ ነው። እኚህ አባት በሲኖዶሱ ቢላኩም ባይላኩም የቅዱስ ሲኖዶሱ አባል መሆናቸው ግልጽ ነው። ታዲያ በእኚህ አባት ላይ ያ ሀሉ ዘለፋ ወርዶባቸው ሳለ፤ የሲኖዶሱን ክብርና ልዕልና የሚያኮስሱ ብዙ ነገሮችም ተብለው ሳለ፤ ጠቅላይ ስራ አስኪያጁ ወይም ቋሚ ሲኖዶሱ ስለምን ዝም አሉ? ቢያንስ ይህ ድርጊት ተገቢ አለመሆኑን አስመልክቶ አንዳች አልተባለም:: ይህ ጉዳይ ከዚህ በፊት ከሚጮህላቸው ጉዳይ አንሶ ነው? አይመስለኝም። ታዲያ የዝምታው መንስዔ ምንድነው?

ብፁዕ አቡነ ገብርኤል የተመደቡት ከሌላ አባት ጋር ነበር። እኚህ አባት ግን አብረዋቸው አልተጓዙም። አቡነ ገብርኤል ያን ሁሉ ዘለፋ ካስተናገዱ በኋላ ነው ውለው አድረው በተላኩለት መርሃ ግብር ኮሽታ እንኳን ሳይገጥማቸው የታደሙት። የአጋጣሚ ጉዳይ ነው ብሎ ማለፍ ይቻላል? ይህን አጋጣሚ ከቋሚ ሲኖዶስ እና ከስራ አስኪያጂ ዝምታ ጋር አንድነት ደምረን ስናየውስ አሁንም የሌላው ልዑክ አርፍዶ መታደም የአጋጣሚ ጉዳይ ነው ማለት እንችላለን?

ብፁዕ አቡነ አብርሃም ይህን መርሃ ግብር ሲነድፉ በለንደን መርሃ ግብሩን ከሚያዘጋጁ አካላት ጋር እንዲህ ዓይነት ሁከት እንዳይፈጠር ማድረግ ስለሚገባ ጥንቃቄ መክረው ነበር? የመርሃ ግብሩ አዘጋጆች ምን ዋስትና ሰጥተዋቸው ነው ልዑካኑን ለመላክ የወሰኑት? አቡነ አብርሃም እንዲህ ዓይነት ሁከት እንደሚፈጠር የደረሳቸው መረጃ አልነበረም? ወይስ ደርሶአቸውም ሳለ ለክፉ አይሰጥም በሚል መረጃውን ንቀውታል?

በአጠቃላይ በብፁዕ አቡነ ገብርኤል ላይ የተፈጠረውን ሁከትና ከላይ ለተዘረዘሩ ጥያቄዎች እንዲሁም ለሌሎች ከሕዝብ እየተሰነዘሩ ላሉ ጥያቄዎች መግለጫ መሰጠት ነበረበት። ምናልባት መግለጫ በዛ የሚል ስሞታ አስግቶአችሁ ከሆነ እንደዚህ ዓይነት የገዘፉ ጉዳዮችን በዝምታ ታፍነው እንዲቀበሩ የተሰጠ ሀሳብ አልመሰለኝም። እንዲያውም እንደዚህ ዓይነት የወንጌል እንቅፋቶችን አስመልክቶ ያለውን ችግር በአያሌው መግለጥ የጌታ መንገድ እንዲዘጋጅ እና ጥርጊያው እንዲቀና የሚኖረው ድርሻ የላቀ ነው።

ስለዚህ: ቋሚ ሲኖዶሱ ዝም አይበል። ሥራ አስኪያጁም ዝም አይበሉ። ዝም ለማለት በአፍ የተገጠመ ድንጋይ እንኳን ቢኖር እንደ አባ አጋቶን ድንጋዩን አውጥቶ ስለ እውነት መመስከር ያስፈልጋል።

ብፁእ አቡነ ገብርኤል ላመኑበት ነገር ወደ ኋላ የማይሉ ወጥ አቋም ያላቸው፤ ተናግረው ማሳመን የሚችሉና ተጽእኖ ፈጣሪ አባት በመሆናቸው ሥጋት ውስጥ የገቡት አቡነ አብርሃም ከኤጲስ ቆጶሳት  ምርጫው ውጪ ለማድረግ በዘመድኩን በቀለ በኩል ሳይቀር በብፁእነታቸው ላይ ከፍተኛ  ቅስቀሳ ሲያደርጉ እንደነበር የሚታወቅ ነው።

ቀደም ሲል ጀምሮ በብፁእ አቡነ አብርሃም ዘንድ እንደ ባላንጣነት የሚታዩ ብፁእ አቡነ ገብርኤል በአሁንም ሰዓት በአቡነ ሉቃስ ምክንያት በአሳብ ሳይገናኙ ቀርተው የተጣሉ በማስመሰል በደጋፊዎቻቸው በኩል ብፁእነታቸውን ለማስጠቆር ጎንበስ ቀና ማለት ከጀመሩ ወራቶች እንደተቆጠሩ ውስጥ አዋቂዎች ይናገራሉ።

በዚህም የተነሳ አቡነ አብርሃም  በርዕሰ አድባራት ለንደን ደብረ ጽዮን ቅድስት ማርያም ቤ/ክርስቲያን ለመገኘት ወደ ለንደን እንደሚመጡ አስቀድመው  ጥቆማ በመስጠት #ከወዲሁ_ባነር አሰርተው ለመቃወም እንዲችሉ  ሁኔታዎችን አመቻችተዋል በማለት አሳብ የሚያቀርቡ ወገኖች በርከት ያሉ መሆናቸውን ያገኘነው መረጃ ያረጋግጣል።

Update: The #United_States joins Ethiopian Rights Commission and others "in calling for a full investigation into the killing of Batte Urgessa."

In a short statement released through the State Department's Africa Bureau, the #US government said it joined the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission (EHRC) and others "in calling for a full investigation into the killing of Bate Urgessa", political officer of the opposition Oromo Liberation Front (#OLF) who was gunned down in Meki town, East Shoa zone of Oromia region, on Tuesday night.

"Justice and accountability are critical for breaking the cycle of violence," the U.S. said.

EHRC's statement earlier today has called for "a prompt, impartial & full investigation by both the Oromia regional & Ethiopia federal authorities to hold perpetrators to account."

Bate, an outspoken politician, was shot and killed in his hometown Meki. His body was found dumped by the road early on Wednesday.

His party OLF has condemned the killing and said the "unwarranted and extrajudicial killing of conscious and active Oromo political and cultural figures has been a systematic and irresponsible act of silencing the Oromo throughout years and decades."

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-Md), Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, issued a statement following the killing of Bate Urgessa, a leader of the Oromo Liberation Front, in Meki in Oromia.

I offer my deepest condolences to the family for their loss, and urge Ethiopian authorities to allow a credible, neutral international body to conduct a thorough investigation into Mr. Bate’s death. Extrajudicial killings, harassment, and political repression have, for far too long, been common place in Oromia. The Abiy regime has clamped down on political opposition, the media, and dissidents not only in Oromia, but throughout Ethiopia, contributing to the country’s widespread insecurity and overall instability. The government of the United Kingdom has said it echoed a call by Ethiopian Human Rights Commission (@EthioHRC) “for a prompt, impartial, and full investigation into the killing of Batte Urgessa, with perpetrators held to account.”

In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter) UK Ambassador to Ethiopia, Darren Welch, said the UK also called for “justice and accountability” and emphasized that “political dialogue is needed to end the cycle of violence affecting civilians in #Oromia.”

Bate, an outspoken politician and a well known critic of the Ethiopian government, was shot and killed in his hometown #Meki, in East Shoa zone of Oromia region, on Tuesday night after he was forced out of his hotel room. His body was later found dumped by a road side.

EHRC was the first in calling for "a prompt, impartial and full investigation by both the Oromia regional and Ethiopian federal authorities to hold perpetrators to account.”

The statement by the UK government today adds up to previous local and international stakeholders’ calls for independent investigations into the murder of Bate including by the U.S. State Department and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
