I want to make Romeo jealous. I want the dead lovers of the world to hear our laughter and grow sad. I want a breath of our passion to stir their dust into consciousness, to wake their ashes into pain.

"Dear desolation'", 2017 by Eliran Kantor.

Eliran Kantor: "I noticed the metaphor of the wolf and the lamb
appeared a few times in the lyrics, and I thought it grabbed the essence of the topic covered: greed, oppression, cynicism, preying on and misleading the weak, the connection of fear and hope.
So I painted a female wolf feeding a baby lamb while licking her lips. Revealing that she is not nursing him, but preparing a bigger meal for herself"

* The Wolf and the Lamb are a well-known fable of Aesop. There are several variant stories of tyrannical injustice in which a victim is falsely accused and killed despite a reasonable defence.

"Sheep" and "wolves" is metaphorical and used to indicate different character traits. "Sheep" are people who are peaceful, kind-hearted and would never harm anyone. "Wolves" on the other hand are violent and harmful to other people. This metaphor of "sheep" and "wolves" has biblical roots.
