🔆 Critical Minerals
✅ A mineral is labelled as critical when the risk of supply shortage and associated impact on the economy is relatively higher than the other raw materials.
✅ The risk of supply shortage would ideally capture import dependence, recycling potential, and substitutability of these minerals.
✅ The Centre for Socio and Economic Progress (CSEP) in its paper “Assessing the Criticality of Minerals in India” (2023) evaluated the criticality of minerals in India based on two dimensions:
🔸economic importance for the Indian economy and
🔸supply risks.

उपलब्धि पुरस्कार
✅प्रो. जयंत विष्णु नार्लीकर को पुणे में पहला एस्ट्रोनॉमिकल सोसाइटी ऑफ इंडिया गोविंद स्वरूप लाइफटाइम अचीवमेंट अवार्ड मिला
✅एस्ट्रोनॉमिकल सोसाइटी ऑफ इंडिया (एएसआई) ने भारत में खगोल विज्ञान और खगोल भौतिकी के क्षेत्र में उनके योगदान के लिए प्रख्यात भारतीय खगोलविदों को मान्यता देने के लिए 2022 में गोविंद स्वरूप लाइफटाइम अचीवमेंट पुरस्कार की स्थापना की।
✅इस पुरस्कार का नाम प्रोफेसर गोविंद स्वरूप [भारतीय रेडियो खगोल विज्ञान, ऊटी रेडियो टेलीस्कोप (ओआरटी) और विशाल मेट्रवेव रेडियो टेलीस्कोप (जीएमआरटी) के संस्थापक] के सम्मान में रखा गया है।
✅पुरस्कार में एक प्रशस्ति पत्र और पट्टिका और नकद पुरस्कार दिया जाता है

🔆Project ANAGRANINF
✅The Technology Development Board (TDB) has penned an agreement with two companies and has sanctioned a grant of ₹75 Lakhs towards the project "ANAGRANINF for the development of a Novel Class of Antibiotics Against Gram-Negative Bacterial-Infections.
✅The primary objective of this project is to develop a novel lead compound, particularly an antibiotic, adept at inhibiting the FabI enzyme and combatting critical gram-negative pathogens.
