🎤Hello, I am here with Rytis Juodsnukis and together with Aurimas Lekavicius, we are participating in the Rallye Breslau. It's our first start in this rally. The atmosphere is simply fantastic, I could say. Sometimes it's cloudy, sometimes it's sunny, warm, and nice. We are preparing a car, the start is tomorrow. We hope for good experiences. That's all for now, we'll see how it goes later.

Small team with a big mission

Hello, welcome in the Brasov Rally. I'm Bert Keren from Belgium. My nickname is Murphy and I'm from Murphy's Offroad Adventure Team. It's a special edition for me. It's the third time we are here, but we do it for a good purpose. The purpose is I went two times to Afghanistan and I saw what a war can do. Not only it can bring big wounds to people, but also you can have mental problems after a war.

And I have also got mental problems and I want to give something back. So what we are doing, we have a hashtag, we race for heroes. And with this hashtag, we try to make people talk. You're not only a hero if you go to a war or if you are a firefighter or a nurse, but you are a strong people, a hero, if you start talking about mental problems. So we are here for the third time because for me, by myself, it helps a lot to race.

It helps to forget, to reset my mind. So I'm very happy that I can do this. But we like, also with the war in Ukraine, it's very important that we learn that people also have mental problems, not only the visual problems. So please start talking if you have mental problems. We are also one of the smallest, I think the smallest, side by side.

Otherwise, I will show you the side by side. So we are also a team, and our team consists of first responders, a nurse, a firefighter. You can see them playing Rubicon. They all help us to achieve the goal to make that people start talking about their problems. So you can see we have the smallest side by side. We call them the Fox because we are the smallest one. But that will not say we are the last one. So the last two editions we also were not the last one. So we have a logo of a fox on it. But also it's the same like our mission. We are not the biggest team. I'm not the person that will have all the attention, but we will make that other people stop talking. That's the most important thing about it. We are a small team with a big mission.

Alex Kovachev, Race Director of the Rallye Breslau

🎤Hi and welcome to Rally Breslau 2024. This year is not just a rally, this is the 30th edition of the Breslau Rally. Can you imagine? 30 years, one after the other, no interruption, Rally Breslau has done it. The legend definitely lives and will keep on living. We are now in Zagan in Poland. Zagan has been for all these years the partner, the city of Zagan, the partner of our organization and you can definitely name that Zagan is the European capital of off-road.

We're so welcome here. This time we have more than 300 competitors. The bivouac is huge, it's more than 15 hectares and people are here not only for a rally, they are here to take part in this legendary event and to say I was there. We've got old Orga members here invited, we have so much international media, but also the local people like you see now, they are such big fans. So stay connected to us, Rally Breslau will be something special this year.

Lars Jans (NLD) #262 Audi Quatto, Car Open Category

🎤My name is Lars Jans, I'm competing in this Audi Quattro in the Breslau Rally 2024. I've participated two times before in a truck and we really like the rally itself, the tracks over here in the forest especially and also we like the atmosphere over here in the bivouac and that's the reason we came back only now with a car and we're over here to have some experience with the car, it's totally new.

And, well, we're not here for the classification, just to have some fun and have a good time. We make it ourselves a little bit difficult driving this car, because, well, it's not the perfect car for the Breslau Rally, maybe. It's a perfect car for the first stages, for the fast stages. But, well, when we go to the tank tracks, it will be really difficult for us, so we have to be careful not breaking the car. But, well, let's see what happens. Let's keep it in one piece.

BARTLOMIEJ TABIN (POL) #102 Enduro category

🎤Hello, welcome everyone, this is Tabin Bartłomiej. We are at the 30th edition of the Rallye Breslau. My day started off very well today. The prologue, as we know, is short. We are still waiting for the official results, but I probably won it. So tomorrow I will be opening the route. Of course, this is just a short part of the whole big rally, and the real racing is just beginning. So tomorrow I will probably be opening the route.

Obviously, it's difficult, but we will try to have a great time together with friends and our team here for this 30th edition, and we'll see each other in tomorrow's stages.

I am a finisher of the 2024 Dakar Rally, so I also wanted to say that for me, participating in both Dakar and rallies like the Rallye Breslau is a very exciting event. So keep your fingers crossed, we're live.

MARCEL SNIJDERS (NLD), co-driver of Janus van Kasteren. SSV category

🎤Hello this morning we had a little accident Janus was going for like a sort of shakedown and he crashed with the mechanic and this is what is left of it but we have very good mechanics and they are fixing the car now so new window everything new so it's gonna be good for tomorrow. We have to start all behind number 473 so we have to start behind but some people we we catch some people but was dust and not easy to pass but was only eight or nine kilometers so was good. It was like sand with bumpy and little water inside but was yeah I've been here more but navigation was short, 100 meters, 150, but it was good, it was good. And the mechanics did a very good job that we can drive today.

Robert Przybyłowski (POL) #95 Enduro category
.

Hello. Today is the first day of our Rallye Breslau. It was the prologue. The prologue was 10 kilometers, about 10 kilometers. I finished in tenth position. I am happy with this result because, as we say, it is an inauguration for me with this heavy motorcycle. Additionally, I had it fully fueled, you could say full, so 30 liters. This added extra weight, but I ride with a heavy load to get used to this type of rally, riding on sand with a full load. So, as I said, congratulations to my colleagues. Congratulations to the organizer for a well-prepared route. And thanks also to my sponsors for allowing me to participate today. Keep your fingers crossed for me and we’ll keep going. See you tomorrow.

Marius Damavicius & Albert Veliamovic (LEU) SSV category

Albert, I don't see you. I'm driving the Prologue and my eyes just now are very good. I don't know. You see, you see. What do you see for me? I see... I'm just kidding, I'm just kidding. Very short Prologue. Only 9 kilometers. With the belts, you know. One minute and we finish. It's finished, yes? No, 8 minutes 47 seconds. We finish. We finished top 10, yes? Maybe. Yes, top 10. About top 10. This result is very good for us. Are you happy? Very, very happy.

I am happy two times in my life. Where I find my wife, beautiful wife, and where I go in top 10. So, short, but tomorrow it's a difficult day. Very long day and half day. Yeah, we will start 10th position. I think it's very good. Because a lot of good racers, you know. Very good racers. John Van Castel, number one. Number one. So tomorrow I think we can say something more. Today just rest. Today very, very small kilometer. The track not so easy and not so fast. Dunes level 3. Dunes, not dunes. Only... Joking. Forest, forest. Some gravels. Some gravels, yes. Not good. Very easy navigation. Is he sleeping? I was sitting in telephone. Just look TikTok. That's it. That's it. That's all for this day. That's all. See you tomorrow, guys.
