🎤Hello, my name is Fidel from Ahuja Racing. We are here in the Baja Extremadura 2024. This morning we have done the shakedown with the new co-driver, Fausto Mota. He did an amazing job. The car is fine to push and do our best. This is my second participation in the Baja Extremadura. Last year we finished third. We had some problems with the engine. But now we are focused on doing a good race. We are going to do a full season of the European Cup. Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Italy and Hungary. We are going to try to keep the title, to go for the title this year. Let's see how this race goes. This is a really fast race and we will try to do our best.

🎤Well, we're on the first day of the Extremadura Baja. The Extremadura Baja counts towards the European championship. Once again, we're here with good expectations. In the last two years, we've won our category. This year, we'll try to do the same thing, which is to win. This race suits us a lot because it has a fast track that we like, and our car adapts well to this type of track.

Good surface, fast, and we have good expectations for the race. In terms of the checks that took place this morning, everything went smoothly and normally, with the usual formalities, and now we're preparing for the podium ceremony around 9 o'clock. Tomorrow we'll have the prologue and a selective sector. This selective sector of Real Sarco will be done in Elvas, Portugal. Hello, so we are here in Baja Extremadura, the next part of the European Championship. We are ready for a new challenge with this new car, also with a new co-driver, that still hasn't gotten any kilometers in rally-raid, so we will see. We will start pushing the car because it has to adapt to how the road is here. He has won Dakar Classic this past year, he is a good guy, same age as me, so he will be the youngest driver here. And we will see also, we have this new car that, as we said, it's like an OT3, but it's like a chassis, with tyres, so a bit lower. And also, the mechanics of the car, so we will see how it goes, let's see.

🎤So, here we are again in Baja Extremadura with the mini-family. This is my pink MINI, so I think that MINI is very well represented for families, women and child. This time it's a Baja time, it's not exactly a rally-raid. I hope that it would be maybe easier because there are not so many days in a row and so many kilometers. But we'll go for a different path, like military zone and some more open areas. So, I think it will be very fun and I want to take the challenge and be as fast as I can in this car.

🎤Now I am here in Baja Extremadura, the first race of the European Cup. I am also in the commitment to have a good result here and then have some points for the championship. I still have not decided what I am going to do next in the European Championship, it depends on the end of this race. At the same time, I have the national championship, that's my first objective. I have my awesome commitments with my sponsors and the national championship, it is amazing, it is very strong. I love to do it, the national championship. So then I will decide if I go to continue to do the European Championship or not, if it is possible. Perhaps I will go to Baja Aragón, that does not belong to the European Cup, it belongs to World Cup. In the cross country, we have three different kinds of FIA championships. So, they are different, but the cars are the same, the same spirit, so, I will see.
