On each W2RC rally, it will be recommended to run one selective section called a ‘Power Selective Section’ with the purpose of enhancing live broadcast (mandatory from 2026). Principles are quite similar to what’s in place in WRC/ERC: should be the last SS of the rally, run for all competitors and be representative of the rally with a 5 to 30 km length. Bonus points will be awarded to the top 3 in each Championship (except Manufacturers).

Thanks to the Chegaga and Merzouga dunes, where the car and bike routes will be split, but also thanks to the care we've taken in selecting tracks that combine driving pleasure and safety. FIA LAUNCHES NEW WOMEN IN MOTORSPORT MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME
Designed to facilitate growth and knowledge sharing, the programme will pair experienced women with those wanting to get into motor sport and those already in it.
The new programme is now open to applications.
Designed to facilitate personal and professional growth, less experienced individuals – mentees – will be paired with more experienced peers – mentors – connecting women to foster a culture of learning, growth, and collaboration.
The application process for club participation and individual registrations is designed to be straightforward and efficient. Each club will receive a dedicated email containing a unique link through which they can apply. Clubs are permitted to nominate up to two participants and applications will be processed on a "first come, first serve" basis.

Following the cancellation of the Quad category in the 2025 Dakar, many Quad riders were faced with the decision of either ending their motorsport careers or taking a break, or switching to another category and using their Dakar experience to their advantage.
Laisvydas Kancius has announced his participation in the 2025 Dakar in a new role. He will not be absent from the Dakar this year. Teaming up with Gintas Petrus of the Petrus Racing Team, Kancius will navigate alongside him. Despite several offers, Kancius decided to join Gintas, with whom he shares a strong Lithuanian connection and a common passion for the Dakar. This partnership aims to create a harmonious team for the upcoming race.

🎤Dear friends, our participation in the Baja Satu Mare was cut short by an unfortunate incident. We collided in a blind corner with another race car which, due to a co-driver's mistake, ended up in the opposite direction. We are mostly OK, but the car will need a lot of work.
