Csaba Miklos and Albert Horn take part in the Baja Greece in a Taurus T3 Max in the Challenger category with the BBR Motorsport Team.

Last year, during Baja Greece, Csaba and Albert surprised everybody and won the prologue in the overall classification. Csaba started his motorsport history in a quad in 2009, racing in motocross and enduro cross in Romania, then he continued with a quad in 2019. Since 2020, he has been racing with the Hungarian team, BEDU Racing. He spent three years developing the car with them. During this time, he was on the podium 16 times in the Hungarian championship, European Cup, and World Cup races.

Co-driver Albert Horn is an electrical engineer working on the Taurus Max cars. He is also involved in the development. Albert has participated in the Dakar three times with a truck for the Hungarian team.

🎤It will be my second time in Greece and my first time with BBR Racing. My co-pilot is the same, Albert Horn. So, what is our plan? It is to get the maximum out of the car and ourselves, as safely as possible, to finish the race, and to get the car into the Parc. This is what we do every time. We are not racing against others; we are racing against ourselves, striving to get the maximum out of us every time.

What's new for us is that, until now, we were racing with Can-Ams or modified Can-Ams, and this is the first time we are using a car with gear shifting, like the Taurus Max from BBR. The car is new to us, as well as the dynamics and the bigger wheels, so it will be interesting. First, we must understand how the car moves, and we will have some tests before the race.

The sequential gear shifting is new for us. The Can-Ams use belt, CVT traction, whereas this one has a professional sequential gear. Let's see.
Gonçalo Guerreiro & Jose Sá Pires won in the T4 Category at Baja TT Lagos!

The Portuguese driver from JBRacing Polaris Iberia, in his second race with the brand-new Polaris Pro R T4 FIA JBRacing, secured 1st place in the T4 category with an impressive lead of over 3 minutes and finished 4th overall, just 8 minutes behind race leader João Ferreira. Despite a tire puncture on Saturday compromising his podium finish, Gonçalo delivered an outstanding performance.

This was the fastest and most notable T4 at Baja TT Lagos, even recording the best overall time in a segment during SS1 on Saturday among all cars (T1+, T1, T2, T3, T4).

An excellent test for JBRacing's latest project, the Polaris RZR Pro R FIA T4!

🎤Gonçalo Guerreiro:
I'm really happy with the performance we had this weekend. We were very fast on both stages and the prologue. The car ran perfectly, and we enjoyed those tricky stages a lot. I want to thank my team, JBRacing, for doing an amazing job and giving me a very competitive car.

Annie Seel, who entered her first Dakar in 2002 and raced 5 Dakars on bikes, 2 times as a driver in T1, and 4 times as a co-driver in SSV and T3, shares her impressions about Dakar 2025 for the Women of Cross-Country Rally group.

🎤My first impressions: the tougher Dakar of last year was a success and is here to stay.

Putting both the Marathon and the 48H Chrono stages in the first week, just like last year, but this year the terrain is not as difficult without the big massive dunes. Still a challenge that will prove how prepared the competitors are, or they will struggle just to make it halfway. This is old school, like it was in the Africa Dakar. You really had to fight to make it halfway.

The second week, going through the Empty Quarter before the finish, will drain the last bit of energy out of the competitors, but if you made it through the first week, you should be in the groove for the grand finale.

I remember the original mass start on the Dakar beach in Africa. All the remaining competitors had breakfast together, sharing our stories and making friends. Then we started in waves and did a short loop to the finishing podium by Lac Rose. A fun way to finish the two weeks of hell.

We will have 5 separate starts for cars and bikes, but for safety reasons, it’s better if all trucks start behind, especially for the SSV and Ultimate categories when we don’t have the speed to overtake. It’s also better for us not to be out in the dark because we don’t have powerful headlights for night driving.

Amerigo Ventura (ITA) #402 Quaddy Racing, Yamaha YXZ1000R, SSV group

🎤Hello everyone, Amerigo and Erika. This year in Greece again with a completely different weather from last year and the vehicle is ready, perfectly clean for the moment. People say that there will be some mud still in the forest and what to say? I'm really happy to be here and with Erika will be a new experience. She's co-driving me this year, we do already one race in Morocco, the desert challenge from Yamhaa and we are going to try this experience in Greece.

I'm familiar with the ground, last year we go really fast, let's see if we can do the same with sunny weather and let's see what Erika in her first experience will do this year.

Erika: Dor me it's a new experience, I'm excited for this experience. I tried in Baja and I love this sport and for me it's a big chance.

Amerigo: We will try to do our best and we are new staff on the car to test, so I'm also really excited. Today we will have the private test, let's keep the fingers crossed and ready for tomorrow.

Fernando Alvarez (ARG) #400, Can-Am Maverick, SSV group

🎤Well, we are in Argos Orestiko, Thessaloniki, Greece for the second round of the World Cup. The good news is the weather this year is amazing. You can see it's sunny days, and it's supposed to be sunny days all the race. Last year was really awful here, it was a really difficult race. We did very well, but the race was really bad. Anyway, we will try to make the same race as last year, that was good. We will see what will be the race, but we have a good feeling. A good feeling with myself, with the car, with my co-pilot. When we start with that feeling, if there is not any issue in the car, we are used to have good results. We will see this the following days.
