Server-side data leaks can still happen, and no amount of encryption will help if your end device is already compromised.

I can’t tell you how much I love this Telegram trick. Scheduled: Night mode will start when the sun goes down and turn off when the sun rises again. If you like, you can instead set your own times for it to turn off and on.
Telegram offers two types of APIs for developers. Both are free of charge. Additionally, subscribers can enable a setting in Privacy and Security to automatically archive and mute new chats, helping organize even the busiest chat lists. But that’s not its only benefit: Secret chats also don’t allow a person forward messages from there or take screenshots.
