After a message is received, it remains in the chat for a predetermined period — you can choose times between one second and one week – before disappearing. As you can see in the below image, the app lets you manually change this before sending, so don't trust locations blindly. Telegram Premium includes new tools to organize your chat list – like changing your default chat folder so the app always opens on a custom folder or, say, Unread instead of All Chats. This update brings improved chat previews on par with iOS. Now you can scroll through them to view the whole chat without marking it as read. New buttons have been added to let you mark the chat as read, mute it, pin it or delete it.
