It is the South Korean streaming television series written and directed by Cho Ui-seok, and starring Kim Woo-bin, Song Seung-heon, Kang Yoo-seok and Esom. Based on the webtoon of the same title by Lee Yun-kyun, it depicts a dystopian future where extensive air pollution has become a huge problem after a comet destroyed most of the world and forced the people who are still alive to depend on elite delivery drivers for survival. It was released on Netflix on May 12, 2023.
In 2071, extreme air pollution has turned the majority of the Korean peninsula into a wasteland after a comet wiped out all but 1% of its original population, who live in segregated districts based on their social status. They are also required to wear respirators and rely on the "Knights", specialized delivery drivers, to provide them with the supplies (especially fresh oxygen) they need to stay alive. One day, a legendary knight called '5-8' meets a boy named Sa-Wol, who wishes to become a Knight just like him, and decides to train him so that he can accomplish his dream in the dark and dangerous world that they live in.

Pahlava

Sweet Pastry - Uzbek, Turkish, Crimean-tatar, Tartarian dessert

Baklava (pahlava) is a popular sweet dessert pastry made of layers of filo filled with chopped nuts in syrup and wide-spread in the cuisines of the Middle East, Balkans and Mediterranean countries. Muslims traditionally serve baklava during the spring holiday Nowruz. The first mention of the dessert dates back to the 15th century: it was prepared in Istanbul at the court of the Ottoman Sultans in the Topkapi Palace. Fatih Sultan liked the chef’s invention so much that he ordered to perpetuate its recipe. Greeks perfected baklava, having invented the finest filo pastry for it. In Russia, baklava is especially well known in Tatarstan and the Crimea.

Preparation method

Chop walnuts and mix with powdered sugar and cinnamon. Roll out very thin dough and cut into layers in size of the baking tray the baklava will be baked in. In the oiled tray, lay two layers of dough, buttering each of them. Apply the stuffing in a thin layer, cover with another layer and put stuffing again. Continue to lay the dough and stuffing in layers until there are no ingredients. The top layer should be made of dough. Brush it with yolk. Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Mark the future cuts on the surface of baklava (it is usually cut into small rhombs after baking) and bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown. Meanwhile, prepare the pouring. Boil 0.3 cup water, dissolve sugar in it and cook for 5 minutes. Add honey and cook, stirring, for another 8 minutes. Take the baklava out of the oven and allow it to slightly cool. Cut into pieces according to the marked cuts. Pour it over with honey mixture and leave for 7-8 hours at room temperature, so that the baklava is well soaked.

Tiger's Claw

A serial killer, nicknamed the Merchant of Death, is operating in the city, "specializing" in famous karatekas and leaving a characteristic mark on the face of the dead — an imitation of tiger claws. Two brave policemen, Linda Masterson and Tarek Richards, take on the search for the criminal. The work carried out leads the detectives to a closed karate club, where one of the teachers of the Tiger Claw style is a certain Chong.

Police officers Tarek Richards and Linda Masterson persistently follow the trail of a criminal with a characteristic handwriting: on the cheek of brutally murdered people, and the dead are karate champions, imitation claws of a tiger paw. The search for the killer leads the police to a closed karate school, where Chong was considered one of the best masters in the Tiger Claw style.

Thirty-two 10-minute episodes of The Grape Monkey were filmed, two of them aired for 30 minutes each.
The main character is a 40-foot tall purple gorilla (voiced by Bob Holt) with the mind of a child. His catch phrase is to repeat his name twice ("Grape Monkey, grape Monkey") after someone says something, usually as a sign of agreement or confirmation of what has been said. He travels through the countryside with his dog buddy Beagle (voiced by Marty Ingels), whom he calls "Bigley Bigley". The enormous size of the Grape Monkey initially shocks and frightens those who are unfamiliar with it, and its mere presence often terrifies people and animals, forcing them to run away with the constant cry: "YO! It's a gorilla-ill-ill-ill-la!" In one case, a road sign reacted in a similar way, snapping off several wooden fragments when the main characters read the above reaction on it, after which it folded up and disappeared in a great hurry.

The Grape Monkey and his friend the Beagle-Beagle usually travel in a small yellow van driven by the Beagle-Beagle, and the Grape Monkey sits on the roof. He would usually "wind up" the tiny vehicle like a child with a friction toy, and then jump into it when the van was on its way.
Given his size, the sneezing of the Grape Monkey was equivalent to a hurricane, and when he cried, which sometimes happened when he was pining for his family, his tears could cause floods in some areas.
In the 1980s, reruns of the Great Grape Monkey show were shown on USA Cartoon Express; they were later restored and broadcast on Cartoon Network, and can now be seen on Boomerang, often as part of the Boomerang Zoo Package. The full half-hour version was not shown on Boomerang until November 22, 2012.
