Report cards of a company's financial health

🔼There are 3 main financial statements:

-Income Statement: shows a company's earnings and its profits or losses

-Balance Sheet: a summary of what the company owns (assets), owes (liabilities), and its net worth (equity)

-Cash Flow Statement: tracks the cash coming in and going out of a business

🔽There are also 2 types of financial statements: standalone and consolidated.

-Standalone statements are only of the main company, without considering any subsidiaries and related companies.

-Consolidated statements combine the financials of the parent company and its subsidiaries.
