Settings in Telegram Just like WhatsApp, Telegram also allows you to share live location with your contacts. This is a very handy feature that I personally use on a regular basis. To share your live location with someone, first open the chat and tap on the attachment button. Now, tap on location. You can also customize your chat background image in “Chat Background” in Chat Settings.
My Contacts: Allow only your contacts to view your profile. We all have that one person that annoys us by sending too many forwarded messages. Well, Telegram makes it really easy to silence such a contact. Just open the chat and tap on the profile photo of the contact. This is useful when you are on your way to a meeting or trying to coordinate with friends at a large event. Rather than sending static locations every minute, you can share your live location with your friend circle for 15 minutes, 1 hour, or 8 hours. Of course, you can stop sharing at any time. Set Auto-Delete Timer for a Telegram Chat Lock Your Conversations When multiple users share their live location within a group, they’re displayed on an interactive map. To use this feature, choose “location” from the attachment menu and tap on “Share my location for…” The app is really awesome for me rather than using other Messaging apps for my day-to-day works. It has all the things that meet my requirements.
Let’s say you have enabled the “Slow Mode” and set an interval of 1 minute. Now members in the group can only send one message per minute. A timer will show them how long they have to wait before sending the next message. You can also able to set your chat to self-destruct in a certain period of time after it has been read or opened.
