To mute a chat in Telegram, head over to the chat in question. Next, tap the name at the top and then hit the mute button. Recipients will get a notification as usual, but their device won’t make sound, even if it is in general mode. To schedule and send silent messages, users can simply type out their messages, but long tap on the send button instead of simply pressing it.
