Just like WhatsApp, Telegram also allows you to share live location with your contacts. This is a very handy feature that I personally use on a regular basis. To share your live location with someone, first open the chat and tap on the attachment button. Now, tap on location. However, with new Telegram updates, they provide two-step verification for your telegram account. That means if you want to login to telegram on another device, itβs required your two-step password to log in. You can also set up it from the Privacy and Security list as I mentioned above. However, Telegram only uses this encryption in calls and in its βsecret chatsβ feature, not in regular chats. Those are only encrypted client to server. Meanwhile, WhatsApp, the supposedly less secure service, has used end-to-end encryption in all messages, calls, and video calls since 2016.
Secret chats If you ever receive any cool short audio clip like a meme sound or any hilarious sound effect (also works with the sent audio) just long-press on it and choose the βSave for Notificationsβ option in the popup. To access this feature, swipe right on the homepage and tap on βSaved Messagesβ. This is your personal space, where you can send as many files as you want to store on Telegram Cloud and then access them from any device, including Mac, PC, and Linux computer. A great way to organize your chats inside a group or channel is by using hashtags. When you use a hashtag in a message, that word becomes searchable allowing you to see all the messages relating to that topic. For example, if the group is discussing the new Avengers movie, everyone can use the Avengers hashtag. If you want to see all the messages in one location, you can just tap on the hashtag and all the messages with that hashtag will come up.
To enable it, go to βSettingsβ, βData and Storageβ, and turn off automatic download βwhen using mobile dataβ and βwhen roamingβ. You will also see options to turn off autoplay βGIFsβ and Videosβ. Open Telegram Links in Your Favorite Browser The standard emojis on Telegram can be presented in an animated avatar to further enhance their emotional value. These are different from GIFs you send in the app. To enable animated emojis, head over to Settings/Chat Settings/ Large Emojis. Telegram Privacy Choices
