๐จ Former Liverpool sporting director Julian Ward has emerged as a surprise contender to take on that role in the fresh backroom at Manchester United.

Julian Ward is an ex deputy DOF to Michael Edwards whilst at Liverpool. Both worked together for around 11 years before Edwards step down from the DOF position. Ward took over the role but ultimately step down a few months later on November 2022.
