Well, no doubt everyone should know what this thing do. We will be deep diving through the extra features that LineageOS offered over the coming weeks, stay tuned.

For this post, let's discuss about the Privacy section. It's actually quite different if you compared it to a Pixel, there's a permission usage section and keep in mind this is a screenshot from LineageOS 18.1. It let you glance through which permissions are being used over the last 24 hours time. You can learn more by tapping "See all in Dashboard" option.

Next, Trust. It used to offer Privacy Guard and option to toggle root access in the early days. Today's Trust only show status for SELinux, security & vendor patches and encryption. Further down you can restrict new USB gadgets, check LineageOS statistics and limit how many SMS message can be send out in one minute time. Lastly, there is security alerts for SELinux status and build signature.

Calendar - Schedule ahead
Life is full of stuff to do, and the Calendar app is here to make your day.

You can easily view what's next to do with the day, week or month view, or if you prefer to check only the event, agenda view is the go-to option. If you wanted to search for a specific event, the app provided the option and you can either go to a specific date or by searching the event's name.
Next, adding events. You can either set it as all day or a time-limited event. If you happened to go for a vacation, you had travelled to a different country with different time zones, so the calendar app lets you do just that. You can also invite guests, set location, write a description, and also set the event to repeat daily, weekly, monthly or even yearly.

Rest of the app is the settings you can change, like the theme, display options, event reminders and so much more. The Calendar app in LineageOS is based on Etar. Any features you could think of is offered there, so give it a try if you haven't yet.
