New Year, New Us? #Blog
Hey people, happy 2024 but we are one year older. I don't think we need to mention but we had been pretty much inactive on the maintenance of the channels over here. Sometines, for weeks, you would just be receiving LineageOS weekly update posts which are pretty much automated.
We, as a human, know that life is complicated and there are a ton of things to do, which applied for us too. It would be great to be notified of all custom ROM releases by the communities in one place, we really wanted to get there too.
For all these times, there seem to be a lot of inconsistency happening. If you hopped across multiple ROMs, then you had realised the default wallpaper doesn't match the one we put up on the banner, for some at least. We just don't actually have the time to just go and check up on the repository tree every time, do we?
Anyway, I personally fixed that last month, and hopefully over the coming time, we will try to avoid all these issues. Another thing we hope to get it right would be the update post itself, which sometimes got delayed for up to a month before reaching to the channel itself.
The only feasible way to solve this, is that someone has to be a "24/7 robot checker" across channels & forums so that we won't miss out an update. This is impossible as we know, but we will do whatever we can to keep it up. It would be great if someone could lend us a hand though. Thanks for your understanding.

Where are we? #Blog
While LineageOS 21 just launched, I wanted to take this advantage to reflect the status of our community. Yes, I am well-aware we hardly came and post some important updates that you guys were waiting for. I kind of wanted to apologise that I forgot to tell you guys I am currently stuck in a busy year, so I hardly can take my time to just come and post.
Perhaps the largest weakness among all of us is persistence. When we do the same thing over and over again, we felt bored and kind of wanted to put it aside. To be honest, I kind of enjoyed the journey of reading & writing which helps me improve my use of English, but time just doesn't allow me to continue with this, and I have way more things to explore other than posting on the channel.
I am not here to say I will be leaving, but it's currently sort of on a hiatus. We do want to keep the tidiness and integrity of the channel, but this means it takes a lot of time to create one such post. If you people don't mind about the old template, we can try some new ways of posting probably, but no guarantee because after all, you still need to take time out for this.
I still want to thank everyone who is supporting, despite our channels being a little inactive these days, I will still try my best to take time out if possible. If anyone is still willing to help, you are welcome to lend us a hand by commenting under the post. That's all for this post, happy Lunar New Year, happy Valentine day, but it's late by a few days, hope life gets better, hope everyone is doing well. We will be back in full force soon!

Pixel 1/XL just got promoted for LineageOS 21 builds #Blog
Not a blog but here's the story: A 2016 phone that was originally supported until Android 10, has made its way to run Android 14, thanks to the community effort.
Yeah, this post was supposed to be forwarded from @PixelHubUpdates, something was just missing but should arrive in a few days I assume. For now, I am releasing this post just to notify the Pixel 1 community we will be getting LineageOS 21 official build. This also means no more LineageOS 20 from tomorrow onwards (archive post under preparation…)
No idea whether the builds are arriving this weekend or not, because LineageOS scheduled ahead to build the first batch of devices which accounted for around 60 devices remaining at the time of posting. They shouldn't have done that for this release (19.1 was 41, 20 with 51, 21? It's 109).
*Also I wish I was a little more creative when it comes to the banner, since a similar template was used for the LineageOS 20 supporting Pixel 1 series post.
