FM Radio - Does more than stream (1)
Radio broadcasting with Frequency Modulation.

FM Radio app is only available for supported devices. You have to plug in a wired headphone to use it, later you can switch audio source to your phone's or headphone speaker. There is also a mute/unmute button beside it. The power on/off button is located on the left side, you can also turn it off by clearing the app from the recent apps list.

In the settings page, there is regional band which lets you adjust the frequency availability, choosing the “User defined band” option lets you adjust channel spacing, lowest and highest frequency. You can also change audio output mode between stereo and mono.

Alternative frequency will try to re-tune to a different, better frequency for the same stations you are tuning to. Record duration will automatically stop after it reaches 5, 15 or 30 minutes, "Until stopped" option will continue to record till you press stop manually. Lastly, you can reset all settings back to default.

In the overflow menu, the Scan option scans available radio stations around you, meanwhile Record just records whatever is streamed and saves it on your device, you can later stop recording it using the option below. Sleep option will automatically turn it off after 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes. All channels list out all the radio stations that are last scanned, over there you can rename or delete it from the list.

Yeah, the app itself has not been updated for years, some elements are pretty much stuck with Holo, long pressing the frequency number will show you a popup-window but the number isn't visible in the scroller, anyway it's usable though.

Long pressing the + button at the bottom will add it to the quick access list, you can tune in instantly by tapping on it. Long pressing on any added stations display options to let you tune, replace (with the current frequency you are on), rename and delete it from the list.
