Reviewers want to see something new—an idea, method, or finding that advances the field. If your paper doesn’t stand out, it’s unlikely to pass the initial review.

↳ Fix: Highlight the research gap and your unique contribution in the abstract and introduction. Avoid simply replicating previous studies.

2️⃣ Poor Structure & Clarity

Even groundbreaking research can fail if the manuscript is hard to read or poorly organized. Reviewers don’t have the time or patience to decipher unclear language.

↳ Fix: Follow the journal’s structure guidelines (e.g., Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion). Use simple, precise language, and have your work reviewed for clarity.

3️⃣ Misaligned Scope
