We recently received many SCAMS of invitation to the FAKE OpenOcean TG groups and announcement channels. Please go through the below steps to avoid suspicious accounts with extra “-” or random suffix (ex. “xyz”). And please always note that we will not DM you first nor will invite you to any group chats.

!!!How To Protect Yourself Against Spam Chats on TG!!

Please do the following in your Telegram:

1️⃣ Go to: Settings
2️⃣ Select: Privacy and Security -> Groups
3️⃣ Select: Who can add me to group chats? -> My Contacts

🔓 This will protect you from scammers adding you to FAKE OpenOcean groups/chats.

If you find any scam groups, you can report to our community admins.
