Med Hub is voluntary platform founded by MedStat which brings together multidisciplinary professionals and Young innovative researchers . It emerges from the need of unification of research efforts to develop excellent research instead of spoiled one.
Med Hub acts as live journal for researchers where they can develop, remodel and implement their research ideas. It provides chances for researchers to invest their knowledge in finding solutions for emerging health issues synergistically with universities, industries, MOH and local communities.

MedStat Research Internship Program (MRIP) is an intense training program (FULL FREE) that was designed by Medstat corporation for statistical services and research consultancy, that you are now meeting again in its second version. The program aims to graduate a limited number of researchers in each version, but with superiour and complete research knowledge and skills.
▪️Program Duration:
The program duration is 4 weeks (starting 13th of February 2021 and ending14th March 2021). 4 workshops on research cornerstones will be presented at a rate of 1 workshop per week.
▪️Participants selection:
Six participants only will be chosen to participate in this version. The selection process will be conducted in 2 steps:
1. MRIP call short-listing (call opens 24th of January 2021, and closes in 2nd of February 2021)
2. Interviews for shortlisted participants (will be held in 7th of February 2021).
▪️ Scientific Content:
A package of the following workshops will be presented: Research Methodology, Biostatistics and Data Analysis using SPSS, Scientific Writing,
Literature search/review and referencing using Mendeley, Publication, and settlement of Autherrship disputes.
▪️Training and Practice:
Majority of the workshops come with pre-designed models for practice. Inputs from trainees will be revised and corrected by MedStat experts. Trainings covers the following topics: Proposal writing, data Entry, data Analysis, literature Search/ review and referencing, grammar and plagiarism checking, manuscript Writing., and a model for the publication process.

WEEK 1 - ADVANCED RESEARCH METHODOLOGY.
Dear MRIP 2 applicants, we hope this post finds you well. We will be explaining the scientific content of MRIP daily in order to help you understand the objectives, and the magnitude of this program.
The first week of MRIP 2 will be an ADVANCED AND EXPANSIVE research methodology training that is still beginner suitable (taking you from zero to hero in research) 🔥
The scientific content of week-1 aims to explain:
1-What is researh?
2- What is a good research topic?
3- Formulating research objectives: the why's and how's.
4- How to determine the appropriate study design?
5- What are the types of biases in researches?
6- How can you select the best methodology for your research?
7- How to calculate your sample size? And what sampling technique you should use?
8- The steps of writing an excellent proposal.
Week 1 will require the participants to be attentive, and to fully attend all lectures of the topic. Intense training on poropsal writing and deadline controlled tasks will be given to the participants. Our trainers will ensure - in sha allah - that all participants fulfill the learning objectives before passing on to the next week.

In the second week, we will give you THE ULTIMATE BIOSTATISTICS AND DATA ANALYSIS WORKSHOP!
Oh, and did we mention that this MRIP will be different too?
After each session, our experts at medstat will be working with the trainees in concentration groups to help them practice every part of the content 👏✨
The scientific content of week-2 will help you to:
1- To learn the general statistical concepts.
2- To understand the basic probability theories related to biostatistics.
3- Hypothesis testing through statistics.
4- Using and Coding with SPSS.
5- What are the types of data? and why does it matter?
6- To effectively interpret the description of data.
7- To learn the basis of choosing the appropriate statistical test.
8- How to present your data.
9- How to Interpret and report test results.
The 2nd week of the MRIP will be the toughest. Here at medstat, we are all about statistics, so our MRIP graduates have to be medical Statistics experts too! Remember, when it comes to practice our touters will have noooo mercy 😂💪
