Pep Guardiola has confirmed he will be Man City manager next season.

Pep: “Yeah, I have a Man City contract. I want to be here next season, yes or yes.”

Pep Guardiola: “Do you know why Man City won the UCL? It was Ederson. In Madrid, 1-1, he made an incredible save from a header from Benzema. The Champions League final, he was the key player, the key to win. We cannot define the period without Eddie, impossible.”

Pep Guardiola: “People talk about the incredible save from [Stefan Ortega vs. Tottenham], because it is, how many times. But Ederson has done it before, with [Heung-min] Son I think in the same action, and he saved it.”

Pep Guardiola: “Man City players know, everybody knows, what we're playing for. It’s something we're not going to live again. None of us. Impossible. The chance to win four in a row? Any of us, in our lives, it’s not going to happen again.”

Pep Guardiola on whether Man City players will get days off if they win the PL title: “What a question! Absolutely I am not going to answer it. After the game, ask me whatever you want. But it’s not the time to answer this.”

Pep Guardiola: “Today in modern football, you have to have two proper, proper keepers. Before it was clear between the first keeper and second. The distance was so big. Everybody knows Ederson is the first keeper, but the distance is not [much] because you need it.”

Pep Guardiola: “Injuries happen, and you have to have a second good, good goalkeeper like you have four top class central defenders, you have to have two or three very, very good keepers. Otherwise, when the distance is too big, the team cannot compete.”

Pep Guardiola on whether 'nobody has a chance' in the PL while he is Man City manager: “It’s wrong. If we win by 20 points, I'd say yes, I'm a genius, I’m so good. But it’s not. The Premier Leagues we won against Liverpool, they could've won. Arsenal can win, we can win.”

Pep Guardiola: “We have incredible captains, incredible relations. When they have bad moments, they solve it, talk to each other, they solve it, the conflicts. We’ve had conflicts this season, between them, between me, it’s normal. How they solve it, this is the key.”
