Oscar Bobb on his return from injury: “I'm just focusing on getting a bit better every day and getting back. Not as soon as possible, but as strong as possible.

It was unfortunate, [but] I didn't think of it as that bad because I've seen loads of friends get big injuries and a lot have come back stronger. I thought of it more as a pause rather than a setback.”

Oscar Bobb: “First and foremost [my aim is] getting back in good shape. Then hopefully pushing on and getting even more games than last year, contributing even more – scoring goals, getting assists, playing important games.”

Phil Foden: “I'm glad I'm back and enjoying my football again. Last year I started a little slow. I don't think there's been a big difference in performances.

Obviously I've not started as many. I had a bit of fatigue coming back from last year, a bit of illness, a few niggles as well, a few things added together.

But if you speak to any player they've all been through it, ups and downs. It was just a bump in the road if you like, I'm delighted I'm back and enjoying my football.”

@Erling_Haaland is currently in negotiations with Man City over a possible contract extension, with the Norwegian clear that his immediate future lies at the Etihad Stadium.
