Man City blame the Premier League for not regulating spending when clubs such as @ManchesterUnited were more dominant, arguing that they have been prevented from monetizing their brand in the way United did.

In their claim, Man City argue current Premier League rules will limit ability to buy the best players and force them to charge fans more for tickets. Man City say they may also have to cut spending on youth development, women’s football, community programs.
