Man City still want Kevin De Bruyne to extend his contract and there is optimism he will. However, if he agreed to a Saudi move, a creative and versatile midfielder would become a priority. Nothing indicates De Bruyne is entertaining it at this time.

Man City have approached Bruno Guimaraes' camp as they look for a player to compliment Rodri, and like the fact Guimaraes can play as a number six or a number eight. West Ham's Lucas Paqueta is still a potential target as well.
