በትግራይ ክልል በሚገኙ አራት ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች ሲያስተምሩ የነበሩ መምህራን የሰሜኑ ጦርነት መቀስቀስን ተከትሎ ተፈናቅለው በተለያዩ ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች በጊዚያዊነት ተመድበው ሥራቸውን እንዲጀምሩ መደረጉ ይታወሳል።

"ነገር ግን አሁን ላይ ሁኔታዎች እየተስተካከሉ በመሆኑ መምህራኑ ወደቀድሞ ዩኒቨርሲቲዎቻቸው ተመልሰው ሥራቸውን እንዲቀጥሉ ጥሪ እንደሚደረግ" በትምህርት ሚኒስቴር የአስተዳደርና መሰረተ ልማት ዋና ሥራ አስፈጻሚ ሰለሞን አብርሃ (ዶ/ር) ለኢፕድ ተናግረዋል፡፡

MORE GOOD NEWS IN TIGRAY REGION UNIVERSITIES

"Sequel to our engagement with Prof. Kindeya Gebrehiwot -Head of Tigray Bureau for Transformation has just informed us that all 4 Universities in the Region will now open alongside
Mekelle University next week.

Primary and Secondary Schools will resume between August and September 2023.

He added that our visit will assist boost the confidence of Students who have been out of school for three years to resume.

He also promised arrangements for "demobilization' of Students
and Lectures conscripted into the Military is underway.

Student population in the entire Tigray Region is put at 1.5million before COvID-19 lockdown and then the two-year Conflict making three years.
Concerted efforts will be intensified to ensure that a good number of Students resume within this period especially those in the military and various IDP Camps.
