The Civil Defense reported the death of a 7-year-old girl who fell yesterday into a 150-meter-deep artesian well in the town of Kafr Natin, near Darat Izza in western Aleppo.

Her body was recovered after 9 hours of continuous efforts, with the help of local civilians at the scene.

Sheikh Hikmat al-Hijri, the spiritual leader of the Druze community, affirmed during his meeting with the Governor of Suwayda the necessity of empowering the youth and providing them with appropriate opportunities, especially those with high qualifications.

He expressed his confidence in Governor Dr. Mustafa Bakour as a link between the people of the governorate and the government, highlighting the importance of the local community's oversight role alongside governmental institutions in building a strong and balanced nation.
