📕So we use already to emphasise that something was completed before something else happened.

The plane had already landed when the pilot announced that there would be a delay in getting to the gate.

📕Already is also used to show surprise about things that have happened or will have happened earlier than we expected.

Already’ is used to indicate that something has happened earlier.

📕It is used in the mid-position of the sentence, and is usually used with Present Perfect.

📘In American English, it is also possible to use ‘already’ with the Simple Past.

📕British English:👇
I have already done my homework.

He has already washed the car.

American English:👇
I already did my homework.

He already washed the car.
📕We use it in affirmative sentences and questions but not usually in negatives:

Anwar – How Can I do
📝Lyrics:

It has been a million times
That I've tried to explain to you
To show you that I feel something strong and special, too
And if I'm alive today
It's only and exclusively for you
'Cause I got nothing more precious
And there's no one more beautiful

I'm your man, I'm your fan
Without you, I'm struggling
I'm your boy, I'm your toy
I'm a slave to your loving
Without you, I am nothing, less than a rock
A stone, weightlessness
Inert and lost in the universe

So, how
How can I do?
Can't you believe
That I love you?
Yeah, how
How can I do without you?
Can't you see
That I'm crazy about you?

I spent days trying to find the way to apologize
I spent nights awake, waiting for the mornings to meet you
And I'm still keeping your picture on my wall
I'm obssesed about how
How I can bring you back

My girl, you're my doll
Next to you, I feel so fortunate
You're my heart, you're my light
You are my everything, baby
Baby, I changed, yes, I changed
Can you forgive me?
'Cause I'm nothing, nothing
Not even a little thing without you

Yeah, how
How can I do?
Can't you believe
That I love you?
Yeah, how
How can I do without you?
Can't you see
That I'm crazy about you?

Yeah, how
How can I do?
Can't you believe, can't you believe
That I love you?
Yeah, how
How can I do without you?
Can't you see
I'm crazy
I'm crazy
I'm crazy
I'm crazy about you?
Crazy, crazy, crazy about you

1. Subject 2. Verb 3. Object

1. The object is usually placed immediately after the verb.
Example: I speak English very well.

2. The indirect object usually comes before the direct object without a preposition.
Example: I gave him the money.

3. An expression of time comes after an expression of place.
Example: We stayed there all day.

4. Place adverbs of time and degree, such as always, often, never, nearly, hardly, scarcely, before the verb, or between the auxiliary and the verb.
Examples: I never see that man; or I have never seen that man.
Note: With the verb "to be" place the adverb after the verb: He is never late.

5. In indirect questions the subject comes first and then the verb.
Example: I want to know where they went.

6. In compound verbs with two auxiliaries, place "not" after the first one.
Example: She could not have been there.

7. In the negative infinitive, "not" comes before "to".
Example: I told him not to go there.
