ππAgree and disagree..
β If youβre in a meeting and someone says something that you donβt agree with, how would you respond?
There are many different options.
β You can say:
πI disagree
πThatβs wrong
πIβm not sure about that
πI see your point, butβ¦
β There are also many other options. Which one is the best ?
πThis depends on several factors, including how strongly you disagree,
The relationship between you and the person you disagree with, and the culture both of the person you disagree with and the other people in the meeting.
β Saying I disagree or youβre wrong is very direct and can possibly cause offence in some cultures. This way of disagreeing is very uncommon in British English as it is viewed as too aggressive in that culture.
πThe most common way to disagree in British English is to use the basic structure:
β Agree ,But ,Disagree
πI see what you mean but I donβt think thatβd workβ.
πYou want to show you agree with someone, you can simply say βyesβ or βI agreeβ.
β If you want to show that you strongly agree, itβs common to add a strong adverb before agree, such as βI completely agreeβ or βI totally agreeβ.
β If youβre not sure of the best way to agree or disagree in any situation, itβs probably best to choose the most polite form at first, you can always change to a more direct, informal style once you feel more comfortable.

The development of easy-to-use statistics is being taught and learned. Students can make transformations of variables, create graphs of distributions of variables, and select among statistical analyses all at the click of a button. However, even with these advancements, students sometimes find statistics to be an arduous task.

Foxes β Friends In The Corner
We were younger then
We were half the age
We could see it all through a careless lens
My friend
Was it all an act?
Was it just pretend?
Does it hurt to see how our smiles have changed?
My friend
I took it all for granted
I lived it like a dream
I was always the first person you'd call when you needed me
Everything is changing
And this is how it's gotta be but
How can something so beautiful leave me so desperately?
All of my friends in the corner
Everybody's looking like they need someone
Together we're not getting older
But everybody's looking like they need someone
All of my friends in the corner
Everybody's looking like they need someone
Together we're not getting older
But everybody's looking like they need someone
So let's misbehave
These are troubled days
When my home was yours, we were always safe
My friend
I took it all for granted
I lived it like a dream
I was always the first person you'd call when you needed me
Everything is changing
And this is how it's gotta be but
How can something so beautiful leave me so desperately?
All of my friends in the corner
Everybody's looking like they need someone
All of my friends in the corner
Everybody's looking like they need someone
Together we're not getting older
But everybody's looking like they need someone
Do you need someone?
Do you need someone?
Everybody's looking like they need someone
Do you need someone?
Do you need someone?
Everybody's looking like they need someone
All of my friends in the corner
Everybody's looking like they need someone
Pretending we don't fear the morning
But everybody's looking like they need someone
Do you? Do you? Do you? Do you?
