If you're verified on at least two social networks, you can verify your group, channel or bot. “Privacy” itself isn’t a particularly attractive product feature in online services. It can be nebulous: We can’t always feel or understand it, and sometimes it’s only when privacy is taken away that we take it seriously. How does Telegram work?

Because Telegram lets you interact with people even if you aren't in each other's contacts, you may wish to make your account more private. Recipients will get a notification as usual, but their device won’t make sound, even if it is in general mode. Mute Specific Telegram Chats To enable it, go to “Settings”, “Data and Storage”, and turn off automatic download “when using mobile data” and “when roaming”. You will also see options to turn off autoplay “GIFs” and Videos”.
