#Reading_practice. There is a Scott Lake in central Florida. In June 2006 a massive sinkhole opened up beneath the lake - acting like a plug hole in a bath. It only took two weeks for the water to drain away. Local residents called meetings to decide what action to take, but in the end, nature took care of the problem. Clay, sand and other fine material plugged the hole and the lake started to fill with water again.

🔰Before we kick off the IELTS speaking discussion, let me introduce the rules of the chat.
1 As the amount of time of the discussion is limited, only prepared students are advised to participate.   
2 Each speaker is allocated around 5-6 minutes. 
3 Make sure that you have a stable internet connection and check your voice system e.g. a microphone, speakers. In case I am not able to hear a speaker clearly, I will have to mute them and allow the next candidate to speak.

Epizodlar turli xil bo’lsada, sketchlarda dialog bir xil. O’quvchilarning vazifasi o’zlariga tushgan sketchni improvizatsiya qilib berish. O’quvchilar dars davomida dialogni yodlashlari shart emas, faqat dialogni o’qib, o’sha holatni role play qilib berishlari kerak. Bu uslub ayniqsa ‘Substitute teacher’ - sherigingiz biror sababga ko’ra kelmay qolsa, ikkita guruhni ham qo’shib dars o’tadigan paytingizda juda qo’l keladi. Bu metoddan 9-10-11 sinf o’quvchilariga dars o’tganimda foydalanaman. Faqat ustoz sinfdagi vaziyatga qarab yondashuvni to’g’ri olishi darsni yanada samarali qiladi. Agar o’quvchilarning darajasi unchalik yuqori bo’lmasa, ularga bo’ladigan talabni boshqacharoq qo’yish kerak. Menda eng o’qimaydigan o’quvchilar bilan ham ish bergan bu metod. Doskani yoniga kelib oxirgi marta qachon javob bergani esida yo’q o’quvchilar ham ancha faol bo’lishgan. Buning uchun men ulardan ingliz tilidan bilimi zo’r bo’lishini talab qilmaganman. ’O’qishing va talaffuzingdagi xatolar bilan ishim yo’q, men improvizatsiya mahoratingni ko’rmoqchiman’ deb aytaman. Bu o’quvchidagi ingliz tilini yaxshi bilmaslik holatini ikkinchi planga o’tkazadi va ingliz tilini yaxsi bilmasa ham hozirda unga berilgan vazifani uddalay olishi va darsda faol qatnashib baho olishiga ishonchi ortadi. Lekin eng qizig’i, ustoz ‘men ingliz tilingni baholamayman, faqat improvizatsiyangni ko’rmoqchiman’ desa ham o’quvchining o’zi doskani yoniga chiqqanda uyalib qolmaslik uchun ba’zi so’zlarni talaffuzini va ma’nosini yonidagi yaxshi biladigan o’quvchilardan yoki ustozning o’zidan so’rab o’rgana boshlaydi. Qarabsizki, ustoz qilishing shart emas degan gap bilan aslida o’quvchida o’sha berilgan vazifani yaxshiroq bajarish uchun ko’proq mas’uliyat hissini uyg’ota boshlaydi.

🔸Play for team sports – play soccer, play basketball, play tennis etc
🖍We play soccer every weekend with our colleagues.
🔸Do is used for more individual sports – do yoga, do gymnastics, do martial arts etc
🖍She goes to dance club, and also does gymnastics to help make her movements more flexible.
🔸Go is used with most activities that end in -ing: go swimming, go biking, go surfing etc
🖍I go biking every morning because I find this activity enjoyable and healthy
🔸With the team sports, we can use the word game or match; a soccer game, a basketball game, a tennis match.
🖍There is a basketball game on TV every Sunday
🔸Home game – when the game is played in team’s own stadium.
🖍Manchester United is believed to win the match as it will be a home game for the team.
🔸Has the lead – winning the game in the middle of the game
