በሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርስቲ የተማሪዎች መማክርት የበጎ አድራጎት ዘርፍ ''ሪህራሄን በተግባር '' በሚል መሪ ቃል (መጋቢት 19/2016 ዓ.ም) ለአዲስና ነባር አባላት በአፍሪካ አዳራሽ ልዩ የእንኳን ደህና መጣችሁ ፕሮግራም አድርጓል ።

በዝግጅቱም ወቅት የሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርስቲ የተማሪዎች አገልግሎት ም/ዲን አቶ አስማማው ደምሴ እንደገለፁት የበጎ አድራጎት ስራ ዩኒቨርስቲው በትኩረት የሚመለከተውና አስፈላጊ ጉዳይ በመሆኑ ሀሳቡ የሚበረታታ መሆኑን ገልፀው በሚያስፈልገው ሁሉ ዩኒቨርስቲው ከጎናቸው እንደሚቆም ቃል ገብቷል።

በሌላ በኩል የመላው ኢትዮጵያ የከፍተኛ ትምህርት ተቋማት የተማሪዎች ህብረት ምክትል ፕሬዚደንት እና የሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርስቲ የተማሪዎች ህብረት ፕረዚዳንት ተማሪ እሰይ ጰጥሮስ እንደገለፀው በጎነት ለሁሉም ሰው የሚገባ እንዲሁም ከሁሉም ሰው የምጠበቅ መልካም ተግባር በመሆኑ በዩኒቨርስቲያችንም ይህንን በጎ ተግባር  እውን ለማድረግ  የተለያዩ ስራዎችን አብረን ልንሰራ ይገባናል ሲል ገልጿል።

የተማሪዎች ህብረት የበጎ አድርጎት ዘርፍ ተጠሪ ተማሪ አሰበ ፍቃዱ በበኩሉ ስለ ዘርፋ ገለጻ በማድረግ ሊሰሩ በታቀዱ የተለያዩ የበጎ አድራጎት ስራዎች ዙሪያ ገለጻ አድርጓል።

በዝግጅቱ ወቅት ከተለያዩ ክበባት ማለትም ሊቲል ሄርትስ፣ ኢንክሉሲቭነስ፣ AHAVAH እንዲሁም ከሌሎችም የበጎ አድራጎት ክበባት ጋር የትውውቅ መርሀግብር ተከናውኗል።

አቀባበል የተደረገላቸው ክበባትም በዝግጅቱ ደስተኛ እንደሆኑ ገልፀው ለወደፊት ዘርፈ ብዙ ስራዎችን በጋራ ለመስራት እንደሚቻል አክለው ገልጿል።
